Calvary Athletic Director Johnny Booty has announced that Tiffany Frazier will become  the new Lady Cavalier softball coach next year.Frazier has been around softball all her life beginning with T-ball as a youngster and playing through her freshman year in college. The newly-named Calvary softball coach brings numerous awards to the table from her years on the diamond. While at Ridgewood, her team won the district championship both years with her success continuing through high school where she made All-District all four years. Frazier was listed on the All-City softball team her junior year in high school and signed to play with East Texas Baptist University in Marshall following her final prep season. She helped coach at Bossier Parish Community College in 2008 and came to Calvary to assist former head coach Mel Campbell in January of 2009. "I have coached a traveling summer ball team called The Louisiana Hurricanes for the past two summers. I have always had a passion to coach," Frazier said. "This is something I want to do the rest of my life. I enjoy the game of softball and helping young athletes achieve their goals in softball and in life," she said. Frazier will be stepping in for Campbell who will now have the opportunity to enjoy watching his daughter Suzanne play at the college level at Mississippi College. "We want everyone to know how much we appreciate Mel Campbell and what a great job he did coaching the softball team. We also want to wish him well as he enjoys going to watch his daughter play softball in college," Booty said.
